If that’s the case, be reminded that our team at The Ridge (and the larger team within the Wild on Alaska company of lodges) is devoted to tackling these logistics before and during our season. This way, our guests can enjoy unexpected luxuries at our fly fishing lodges deep in the Alaskan wilderness without having to worry about how their Diet Coke arrived there in the first place.

So why do we go to all this trouble?

Easy answer. Facilitating wild experiences for people and providing the best trip possible is what motivates us. There’s no task too tall. The challenges we face in order to operate our lodges in Alaska’s fly fishing paradise are a breeze when these goals are in mind.

Far from the road system, Southwest Alaska is an incomprehensible place that’s impossible to put into words. Photos and videos offer a glimpse, but there’s nothing that can replace the experience of going there, putting your boots on the ground and your fly line in the water.
